This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of PSP. This tut is meant to be followed as a guide. Please feel free to use any other papers, colors, elements and or tubes! You are only as limited as your imagination!! I wrote this in PSP XI, but it should work with any other version.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

PSP I used PSP XI, but I’m sure it will work in any other version

Before we begin, please don’t forget that if you need to resize anything, don’t forget to adjust sharpen. Drop Shadow used throughout is 2 2 50 and 5

OK Lets Begin!

Open a new image, 700 X 700 We will resize later. Copy and paste Floral 2 Resize by 25 then by 75. Adjust sharpen and add the drop shadow. Duplicate this layer, Image flip then merge down. Move this layer to the left side of your working image. Duplicate this layer and image mirror. And move this to the right. Then duplicate this layer, Image Rotate 90 to the left and place at the top. Duplicate this layer, image flip. Place these layers so it forms a frame. (You can look at mine for placement) Merge these layers visible.

Using your selection tool set on rectangle, draw a rectangle around your frame, making sure you get all the blank spaces. Using a paper of choice ( I used paper 2) resize by 25, Selections invert then delete. Move the paper layer below your frame layer.

Copy and paste the rope layer by 50 3 X and paste on the upper left side of the frame. Add your drop shadow.

Copy and paste leaf 2 resize by 50 2X, and place on the upper left of frame. Add the drop shadow. Resize by 75 image flip and place on the top right. Look at mine for placement.

Using bow of choice (I used bow 3) Resize by 50 3X Place on side of frame. Look at mine for placement. Add drop shadow. Duplicate the bow layer and Image mirror.

Now add your tube, and place to your liking. Add the drop shadow.

Open Ribbon Frame and resize by 50 3 X and place at the lower center of your frame. Add the drop shadow. Open flower 1, resize by 50 4 X and place ontop of the ribbon frame. Add the drop shadow
Merge the layers visible, and resize ALL Layers by 90. Duplicate and on the original layer, go to Adjust Add Blur Radial Blur set on Zoom Blur Default setting.

Open up the orange splatter, resize by 50 2 X and paste the splatter below your blur layer. Effects Edge Effects Enhance more and add the drop shadow.

At this time, add your text and your copyright.

Now merge the layers visible, and resize to your liking. Adjust sharpen. And save as a PNG

Now you have a beautiful Thanksgiving Tag!

Before we begin, please remember that if at anytime you need to resize, don’t forget to adjust sharpen! Drop shadow used throughout is 2 2 50 and 5

Ok Lets Begin!

Open a blank image 700 X 700. We will resize later. Copy and paste frame 3 to your working canvas. Resize the frame by 25. Using the magic wand, click inside the frame selections expand by 5, copy and paste a paper of choice. I used paper 5. Resize the paper by 15. Selections invert delete. Move the paper layer below the frame. Add the drop shadow to the frame layer.

Copy and paste the tube of your choice and place to your liking. Add the drop shadow to your tube.

Using Doodle of choice, ( I used Doodle 1) Resize by 50 and place on the upper left hand side. Add the drop shadow. Duplicate Image mirror then Image Flip. Merge these two layers and move to below your paper layer.

Resize Beetle bug of choice ( I used Beetle bug 2) by 15, then by 50. I hope you aren’t forgetting to adjust sharpen! LOL! Image mirror, and place on your frame. Look at mine for placement. Add the drop shadow.

Resize Lava of choice by 50 2x. I used Lava 3. Place on the lower right hand side of the frame. You can look at mine for placement. Add the drop shadow.

Resize Flower 5 by 50 3X. Place on the lower left hand side of the frame. Add drop shadow. Duplicate the flower layer 2 times for a total of three, and place to your liking.

Select the Lava Lamp Layer, and using the selection tool set on ellipse, select the dots in your lava lamp. Duplicate the lava lamp layer 2 times for a total of 3. You can rename these Lava Lamp 1, Lava Lamp 2, and Lava Lamp 3. On layer 1 go to Eye Candy4 HSB Noise with the settings on Tie Dye default and apply the filter. Select Lava Lamp 2 and using the same filter, click on the random seed tab. Do the same for Lava Lamp Layer 3.

Add your text of choice using Groovy Font and add your copyrights.

Close off Lava Lamp layers 2 and 3. Layers merge visible. Image resize to your liking, adjust sharpen. Then copy and paste this image into Animation Shop.

Back in PSP, use cntrl Z 3 times, to undo your sharpen, the resize and the merge. Close off Lava Lamp 1, and open Lava Lamp 2. Merge the layers visible. Resize this image and adjust sharpen. Copy and paste this image into Animation Shop after current layer.

Last time in PSP use cntrl Z 3 times again, then close off Lava Lamp 2, open Lava Lamp 3. Merge these layers visible. Resize this image and adjust sharpen. Copy and paste this image into Animation Shop after current layer. Save your tag, and now you have a GROOVY Tag!

Before we begin, I just want to remind you that if you need to resize anything or use the pick tool, don’t forget to adjust sharpen. The drop shadow used throughout is 2, 2, 50 and 5.

Ok! Now lets begin!

Open a new image 700 X 700. We will resize later. Copy and paste a sequin of choice (I used sequin 1) to your working canvas. Add your drop shadow. Copy and paste a lace of your choice (I used lace 5) Resize by 50 2x. Adjust rotate left 45, then rotate left 15. Adjust sharpen, then add the drop shadow. Place on the sequin You can look at mine for placement. Copy the lace layer and image mirror.

Next copy and paste Leaves 1 Resize by 50 3x, and with the pick tool move to the left. Adjust sharpen, and add the drop shadow. Duplicate image mirror. Duplicate the original and using the pick tool again, move it so that its straight up and down. Look at my tag for placement.

Copy and paste rose of choice. (I used flower 10) Resize by 50 3x and place in the middle of the leaves. Add the drop shadow. Duplicate this layer and image rotate left 15. Duplicate this layer and image mirror.

Copy and paste Bow 1 resize by 50 3x. Place at bottom of stems and add the drop shadow.

Merge the layers visible. Copy the merge layer. On the original layer (the bottom one) Effects, texture effects, Mosaic Antique and apply the default settings. Resize the duplicate layer by 90.

At this time add your tube and place to your liking. Add the drop shadow.

Add your copyright and Text, and add a drop shadow to your text.

Merge the layers visible, and resize to your liking. Don’t forget to adjust sharpen! Save as a PNG.

Now you have a gorgeous Pink Tag!

Ok Lets Begin!

Please note that if you have to resize anything or use the Pick tool, please don’t forget to adjust sharpen. The drop shadow used throughout is 2, 2, 50 and 5


Open a new image 700 X 700 We will resize later. Copy and paste a circle frame of choice (I used Circle Frame 3) Resize by 80. Click inside the circle and selections modify expand by 3, copy and paste a paper of choice (I used paper 9) selections invert then delete. Move the paper layer below the frame layer. Copy and paste String heart 2, and move it below your paper layer. Add the drop shadow to the string layer.

Copy and paste tube of choice and place it to your liking. If you want to make it look as if your tube is coming out of the frame, duplicate your tube layer, and move the original below the frame layer. On the duplicate layer, carefully erase any of the tube that is on the frame. Add the drop shadow to the original tube (the one below the frame)

Copy and paste bow 2 Resize by 75 twice. Place at the lower left of frame. Look at my tag for placement. Part of the ribbon was covering the face of the tube so I carefully erased that part of the ribbon. Add the drop shadow to the bow. Copy and paste flower 3 and place it on top of the bow. Resize by 50 3X Add the drop shadow to the flower.

Copy and paste the glitter layer and move it to the bottom of your tag. Add the drop shadow. Duplicate this glitter layer, and Mirror and Flip this layer. Move them both to your liking.

Add your artist copyright, and your text. Add the drop shadow to your text.
Merge you layers visible, and resize to your liking. Save as a PNG

Ok! Let’s begin!!

Drop Shadow used throughout is 5 5 50 and 5. If you need to resize anything don’t forget to adjust sharpen after you resize!

Open an image 700 X 700. We will resize later. Copy and paste flower 1 to your working image. Resize the flower by 75, then go to filters Mira Meister Copies, Encircle. Use the default settings, but change the Shift X and Shift Y to 60. Click inside this “frame” with your wand, then selections expand by 5, copy and paste a paper of choice. Selections invert, then delete. Move this layer under your flower layer and add the drop shadow to your flower layer.
Copy and paste feather 3. Resize by 50 then by 90 and use the same Mira Meister Encircle with the same settings as earlier. Move this feather layer below the paper layer and duplicate the feather layer. On the original layer (or the bottom one) go to Mira Meister Copies Afterimage linear and use the default settings. Add the drop shadow to the copy of the feather layer (the top one)

Copy and paste the leaf and move it to the upper right of your frame. Look at mine for placement. Add the drop shadow, then duplicate and mirror the copy. Move the two leaf layers so they are touching and merge these two layers together. Duplicate this layer and then image flip and then merge these two layers together. Move this layer under your bottom feather layer.

Add your tube of choice and place to your liking. Add the drop shadow to your tube.

Copy and paste Bow 3 Place at the bottom of the flower frame. Add the drop shadow. Copy and paste the pink ribbon and resize by 80. Place on the knot of the bow and add the drop shadow.

Copy and paste flower 4, resize by 50 3X Place on the middle of the ribbon. You can look at mine for placement.

Add your artists copyright and your name. Merge the layers visible Resize to your liking and save as a PNG.

Now you have a beautiful tag to show your support of Breast Cancer Awareness!

NOTE: I used a Drop Shadow of 2, 2, 50 and 5 throughout the tut. Please remember that if you resize anything, or use the pic tool (or deform tool) don’t forget to adjust sharpen!

OK! Lets Begin

Open an image 700 X 700. We will resize later. Copy and paste a paper of choice ( I used paper 1) apply your mask. Delete the mask and merge the group.

Copy and paste the Mat from the kit and move it below the mask layer. Add the drop shadow to the mat. Then copy Daisy 2 and paste to your tag, resize the Daisy by 125 (don’t forget to adjust sharpen!) Add the drop shadow.

Copy ribbon bow, and place it on the left side of the tag. Look at mine for reference. Add the drop shadow. Copy and paste your tube and place it in the middle. If you need to resize your tube, don’t forget to adjust sharpen! Add the drop shadow.

Now, open up the heart charm and make a copy and delete the original. Resize this charm by 75 . Adjust sharpen. Click inside the charm, then go to selections modify expand by 8, then copy and paste the label. Position the label inside the heart to your liking, then go to selections invert, then delete. Add the drop shadow to your charm and merge these layers visible. Resize this by 75 twice, and then copy and paste to your main tag, placing it by the knot of the ribbon. Look at mine for reference. With your eraser, carefully erase the top of the link so it looks as if the charm is hanging from the knot. Add the drop shadow.

Resize the green leaves by 75, then by 85 and copy and paste to your working image. Move the leaves below your tube. Duplicate the leaves, image mirror. I resized the second leaves by 90, but that’s up to you. Use your pic tool to position where you like it. Add the drop shadow to both layers.

Copy and paste Rose 1, image mirror. Use the pic tool again to position. Duplicate and resize by 80 and use the pic tool again to place where you like it. Add the drop shadow to both layers.

Next, chose the ribbon you would like to use. I used ribbon 1. Resize by 75 then by 50. Place at the bottom of your stems. (I hope you haven’t forgotten to adjust sharpen after all resizing!) Add the drop shadow.

Copy and paste the sparkles, and move to the bottom of your working canvas. Resize by 70. Add a Gradient Glow of 33 25, 100 and I used the color #461c63. Duplicate and mirror the Duplicate layer.

Now add your artists copyright, and your text. I used Al-Sandra font, in white, and the same Gradient Glow, then added the drop shadow.

Merge visible, and resize to your choice. Save your tag as a PNG.

Now you have a beautiful tag!

Hi everyone!

This is my first attempt at blogging...please be gentle with me! LOL! I am 54 yrs young, divorced mom of 5. My babies are in college! I have an adorable grandson, Alex who is 4. I have been PSPing for over 6 yrs now. I love making tags, and have been writing tuts for about a year now. I havent written any in awhile, so I think its time to jump back in and get started!
